French Exam - BEPC Session 2021
This official French examination for the Brevet d'Etudes du Premier Cycle (BEPC), 2021 session, is a comprehensive document covering all linguistic skills assessed at this level. Part 1: Spelling Correction
The proposed text, entitled An Unhappy Boy, is an excerpt from Afrika ba'a by Remy Medou Mvomo. It tells the moving story of a persevering young boy who, despite social exclusion and material hardship, clings to education by following lessons from a tree branch. Candidates must identify and correct grammar, spelling, accent, and punctuation errors scattered throughout the text.

The supporting text is an excerpt from Les Frasques d'Ebinto by Amadou Kone, in which the narrator expresses his passion for well-done work and the personal satisfaction he derives from it. Questions are divided into three sections:
